RED CROSS LOANS The British Red Cross Medical Loan Outlet that was based within the Drop In Centre, Poplar Road, Great Cornard has reluctantly had to vacate the premises. This is due to the proposed redevelopment of the site by Babergh District Council but unfortunately, with the nearest one now being Bury St. Edmunds, this leaves the local and surrounding communities with no loan service in their local area.
Can you help? We are looking for premises, ideally within the Great Cornard or Sudbury area from where we can run our Medical Loan Service. We need a room, which is easily accessible to those who have a disability, and which is able to house a desk and filing cabinet, along with enough space to enable us to keep a small stock of equipment for this vital service. We would ideally look to share space in a building that houses other schemes for care in the community or other like-minded services.
