SUDBURY (Suffolk) FESTIVAL OF REMEMBRANCE The Royal British Legion Sudbury and District Branch are working with the Sudbury Upper School to present a Festival of Remembrance on Friday 16 October 2009 in the School Auditorium all proceeds for the Poppy Appeal.
There will be sketches, music and recitals from the School pupils, the School Choir and School Orchestra, and members of The Royal British Legion. The second half of the Festival will take the form of a Drumhead Remembrance Service with The Royal British Legion Standards and other local Association Standards in attendance.
The Festival will be timed 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £3 each and are available from Sudbury Upper School, the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in The Town Hall, Sudbury or myself at 12 Phillips Field Road, Gt. Cornard, CO10 0JH or phone (01787) 374277.
