Sudbury Air Training Corps

The Air Training Corps (ATC) is open to boys and girls from the ages of 13 to 18 who are looking for something different. There are many opportunities available to cadets both at the squadron and as part of the wider Air cadet organisation, including flying, gliding, adventure training, Various sports, The duke of Edinburgh Award, Marksmanship, BTEC's, skiing, scuba diving, climbing, abseiling, , power-boating as well as the chance to spend a week on a RAF Station and local weekend camps. Fieldcraft is taught to all cadets, showing them how to make their own shelters and cook in the open.


We are always looking for new members, both as cadets and adult staff. The Squadron is currently about 40 strong and many of them are from Great Cornard. The Squadron meets on Monday and Thursday from evenings. Click on the hyperlink to visit the Sudbury Air Cadets website
